Initial Contact
Step 1 - Identification, confirmation and authentication of a Faithfriend by the co-ordinator of JY.
Step 2 - An individual invitation is sent from the website by e-mail to all proposed Faithfriends.

Registration
Step 1 - Online registration and confirmation (by Faithfriend). Your Reference Person is your country co-ordinator. His/her phone number may be required for registration.
Step 2 - Offline authentication and confirmation (by co-ordinator- Fr Sony Sebastian)

Induction Time
This is a time to become familiar with the site, its vocabulary and operation. Only View scrolls and Instructions are accessible here for the moment. Also within View Scrolls there are Instructions about this Scroll. Please read and understand them before you send them to a Cybersoul.

Initially , you may be allocated to a Cybersoul for learning purposes.

Allocation of a Cybersoul

• A Cybersoul will be allocated to a Faithfriend (by the co-ordinator) once you are confident about accepting a new Cybersoul.

Prayer and Introduction
Step 1 - When you have got the name of the Cybersoul, say a prayer for this person.
Step 2 – Developing the initial contact, getting to know each other and developing a friendship online can be done by sharing a Scroll : Level 1- General Introduction.
Step 3 - If there are doubts about the theme, a Faithfriend can send a message to the co-ordinator, Fr Sony.
Step 4 – Once the doubts have been cleared up, a Faithfriend may Assign the Scroll with the particular Cybersoul, adding a personal message.

How to Assign a Scroll?

Step 1 - Go to Assign Scrolls. A screen like this will appear:

Step 2 - From the list of your Cybersouls, select a Cybersoul - his/her name will be listed there.

Step 3 - Within the various levels in the list given, choose a theme and choose a particular scroll.

Step 4 - Read it well before you send it. Consider that it is your scroll and you are sending it personally to your Cybersoul.

Step 5 - In the column at the end of it, address your Cybersoul by name and write a personal notes.
(Tips: Read the instructions within each View Scroll, see top right in a Scroll- to get an idea of how to respond to a Cybersoul, using Scrolls.)

Step 6 - Then Assign the scroll for reading and discussion by the Cybersoul.

Encouragement
Each Cybersoul should be told that you are looking forward to his/her reply and the return of this Scroll, duly completed.

Reviewing Scrolls
When you get a Scroll back from the Cybersoul, go through it carefully, expressing appreciation that he/she has read it and has replied.

• This can be done by clicking on the comment icon you can see after each of the replies.
• You are requested to encourage interactive discussions based on their replies.

(Tip: Initially, nothing will be referred to as wrong answer but rather as a different view or opinion. At the same time you may need to present the Catholic view in obvious cases.

Faithfriends are then requested to increase interaction, acknowledging the replies from the Cybersouls, endorsing their knowledge and clarifying any remaining questions, using the comments relating to each question.

Once a Scroll has been reviewed, a new Scroll may be started. Old Scrolls can be used still for discussion on each question.
