Reading 1
Acts 16:1-10
During the night Paul had a vision. A Macedonian stood before him and implored him with these words,"Come over to Macedonia and help us. "When he had seen the vision, we sought passage to Macedonia at once, concluding that God had called us to proclaim the Good News to them.

Responsorial Psalm
Ps 100:1b-2, 3, 5
The LORD is good: his kindness endures forever, and his faithfulness, to all generations.
R. Let all the earth cry out to God with joy.

Gospel
Jn 15:18-21
Jesus said to his disciples: "If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first.
If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you."

Reflection
Paul Timothy and all those who preached the Good News had been in tune with the Holy Spirit that they reveived messages from the Holy Spirit in visions. Lord, let me also be praising your glory in all my activities of the day like the angels in heaven that my heart may also be in fine tune to hear your gentle voice.

I often swing with the spirit of the world. When the pleasure calls me I travel the heights and when sorrow clings to me I go with it to sheol. Let me stand on the rock, Jesus, who loves me ever.
